A ready-mix concrete plant is located on approximately 18 acres of non-active farmland that was developed by Civil Solutions at a cost of 2 million dollars. Prior to construction, the site was composed of valleys, ridges, and ponds with 30+ feet of elevation change. To achieve a level plateau for the concrete mixing plant, approximately 50,000 cubic yards of earth were excavated from the ridges, then placed and compacted to fill the valleys and ponds. To supplement the cut and fill work, several retaining walls were installed throughout the development.

Civil Solutions managed the following activities during construction:

• Demolition of the existing site features

• Asbestos abatement of existing structures

• Earthwork operations

• Installation of utilities – gas, electric, water, sewer, and communication

• Placement of concrete pavement

• Construction of foundations and onsite structures

• Design and construction of multiple retaining walls
