Delta Flats is an up-scale residential development on the east side of Downtown Cincinnati. The development consisted of a 3 multi-story apartment building with a club house and a swimming pool.

Civil Solutions Associates (CSA) provided engineering design and quality control inspection for a verity of retaining walls throughout the development. A total of 10 walls were designed to accommodate site conditions and maximize the site space. A soldier pile lagging & plug pier wall (1600 s.f.) was constructed at the top of the hillside slope to protect adjacent property. A series of 3 large modular block walls (total 8,000 s.f.) were installed across the west property line. The installation took place after the excavation of the hillside to maximize usable space for the development. Three cast in-place concrete walls (total 4,790 s.f.) were constructed at the intersection of Delta & Columbia Pkwy to provide pedestrian access to the development. Finally 3 additional modular block walls (total 1,000 s.f.) were installed on the east property line along Delta Avenue.
